Hi there! My name is Erin and I’m a vet assistant here at Gardiner Park Animal Hospital. I’m also a full time student at the University of Regina, where I’m pursuing my degree in biology as well as completing my pre-vet requirements. I’ve always adored animals and enjoy taking care of them. I have a special place in my heart for exotics and wildlife, so whenever one of these critters comes into the clinic it always makes my day! I have two extremely friendly rex rabbits that I adopted and love dearly, just call me the crazy rabbit lady! Another passion of mine is travel: I’ve lived in Tanzania, France, Quebec, Ontario, New Brunswick and I just came back from a year in Australia. I had the opportunity to work at a clinic in Sydney, and this experience cemented my desire to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a vet. Interestingly enough, I used to bring my ferrets to Dr. Bardutz as a child! Thus, I’m so thrilled to be working at Gardiner Park now and learning from Dr. Bardutz and the talented, dedicated team here!
