Vaccinations and Your Pet

At our hospital we are always receiving questions from owners about vaccinations: Which ones their pets need, when and how often.  Vaccinations are a vital part of preventive medicine for dogs and cats, the same way they are for humans.  They prevent or reduce the risk of potentially deadly diseases, some of which can also be transferred to humans.  Pets are vaccinated for their own safety, the safety of their owners, the public, and other pets.
